Amazing photos of crocodile covered in bright green coat of algae in South Africa

[South Africa] You would think a crocodile coming out of the water would be enough to scare anyone away, but this photographer was not fazed when he saw one that could have been mistaken for a reptilian Hulk.

South African Armand Grobler, took the photos of the Algae-covered crocodile near Lower Sabie rest camp in the Kruger National Park and was stunned to find the crocodile emerging in a bright green coat of what he suspected as blue green algae.

Mr Armand said: “He definitely looks similar to a mythical creature or monster.

“At first I thought the Hulk could be a good description, but then I thought it could be the Loch Ness Monster.”

The 22-year-old, who does photography as a hobby, said it was by chance while he was at work as a freelance field guide at Mopane Bush Lodge and Kruger National Park that he took these photos.

The crocodile can be seen slinking along the banks of the lake after gliding through the water – where it presumably managed to get the look of a mythical monster.
