HOW amusing that November 5 should have fallen in National Sausage Week – the connection (however tentative) being bangers, ho ho ho!
I tried Dicksons’ new seaweed variety, which came in the form of chipolatas – and very nice they were too. Served up as toad-in-the-hole with lashing of onion gravy, mixed veg and a little home-made apple sauce!
