[Netherlands] Cyanobacteria causes problems such as health and odor issues when blooming in lakes and water reservoirs. As such, LG Sonic has developed the MPC-Buoy, a floating, solar-powered system that emits specific ultrasonic parameters to target the algae present.
The MPC-Buoy eliminates up to 90% of the existing algae, prevents new blooms and reduces TSS, BOD and chemical consumption. The technology is installed in lakes and drinking water reservoirs in the U.S., Canada, Colombia, the U.K., Malaysia, and Poland.
