[EU] The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) is looking at a novel food application for Ecklonia cava phlorotannins from Korean firm Botamedi. If EFSA’s safety opinion is positive, this could see the novel edible brown seaweed polyphenol arriving on EU supplement shelves.
